Right click on any of the culrpti documents, go to "properties" then "security" tab then "advanced" button at the bottom... When the next window opens, it will show the owners for that document. Make sure the appropriate owners are listed. If not, highlight the documents and correct the owners. This might not be your problem, but it sounds similar to a group of files I downloaded and could not access.. Hey Guys, I recently upgraded our intranet server to Coldfusion MX and now whenever one of our users tries to open a word document off the web server, they get a 2 field network password prompt. This only happens with word and Excel documents. I have the authentication set to anonymous in IIS. Any ideas? We tend to run all the aspects of the DC CFUG, but not really because it benefits our business - we founded it, and since we've always been willing to do all the work, no one else volunteers! We always extend invitations to guest speakers, but don't get many takers.
