I thought Charlie's suggestion had solved my problem, but it turned out not. It worked cycling through the first few months, but froze up going from October to November, and then also on other months where the 1st fell around the weekend.
The code I sent earlier was a stripped down version for clarity and did not include the Previous & Nextbuttons. Is there an alternative code I can use to have the calendar skip the weekend dates? Should I post more of the code? It's been very frystrating trying to get this to work properly.
