There's an equivalent switch for modifying the timeout value for stopping the service. You might want to bump it up to 120 seconds and see if that's enough time for it to stop the service properly. Example: C:\CFusionMX\runtime\bin>jrunsvc -stoptimeout 120 "coldfusion mx application server" (It will create a StopTimeout registry key at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\ColdFusion MX Application Server\)

The problem is that I can't play much with parameters, trial and errors because this is our main production app server... What is the difference between a CFMX service start after reboot and a CFMX service re-start? What could be the reason of this behaviour? Probably an error in the config of the server. Thanks.
