Just a note: Updater 3 did not turn Flash Remoting off per se, it 
turned off the Web Service proxy that the Flash Remoting gateway 
provides (because it can open you up for a denial of service attack 
unless you're careful about how your network is locked down).

If Updater 3 turned off Flash Remoting *completely* for you then it was 
a separate issue because Flash Remoting certainly did work by default 
with Updater 3!

The relevant flag for the Web Service proxy is:
        DISABLE_CFWS_ADAPTERS
and it should be set to true unless you really need the Web Service 
*proxy* enabled in Flash Remoting.

All the same, I'm glad Flash Remoting is working for you in 6.1...
