Tapestry includes a good number of these features. By event logging / audit trail are you referring to as part of the workflow tools or part of a versioning system? They exist in the workflow component. Versioning is in development now.
Dublin core meta data, text only, printer friendly and email a friend, news management, form creation, and dynamic site map could be added fairly easily using the native features of the system. It already creates forms automatically for the back end cms, and replicating something similar for the front office should be pretty easy to do. All of these would tie in easily with the system's custom content types (all content types in the system are custom -- it's part of the OO architecture). Mailing list could also be added using the native features of the system -- I'd need mor information to give any better info. By help system are you referring to help for the cm application or help for the site it's building? Back office or front end? Tapestry has a rich help system for the back end. Admittedly it's not free, but we can talk if you're interrested. Let me know if you'd like a demo. s. isaac dealey 972-490-6624 team macromedia volunteer http://www.macromedia.com/go/team chief architect, tapestry cms http://products.turnkey.to onTap is open source http://www.turnkey.to/ontap > I'm searching around the web for options, but I thought > I'd ask here if > anyone has any recommendations for a good open source > CF5-compatible CMS > app/framework, preferrably based around Fusebox or a > similar methodology. > Requirements as follows (if anything's not included, > should be adaptable > enough for it to be added easily): > - Configurable roles-based user/admin system > - Event logging / Audit trail > - Workflow management > - Content/page/nav editing > - Content categories > - WYSIWYG editor (or facility to include one) > - Media management (files, images, etc.) > - Dublin core meta data > - Text only, printer friendly and email a friend options > - News management system > - Form creation > - Dynamic site map > - Site search > - Updates mailing list > - Help system > Obviously free is preferable, but licensed systems are > fine.
