Be wary of relying too much on the scheduler in CF5 (at least on Solaris). There's a very evil bug related to time/date calculations that cause the scheduler, out of the blue, to execute items 40x per second. Crashes our server every time seeing these scheduled items kick off some heavy processes. This happens every few months...very weird indeed.
