idd, it's right, i looked it up, it's possible. are you sure you have no 'cn' or 'ou', so no subgroups

Maybe I've missed something entirely. :-( It's made harder by the fact that I don't have any control over the directory settings(though in the long run, I'm probably better off--hehe), and my admin isn't inclined to being vast amounts of help.
