No password or blank passwords in datasources, or blank passwords for the sa account will leave you open to unacceptable security risks. There are a number of SQL server exploits that use blank passwords to compromise your server. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;313418
I don't know your situation, but I sure don't understand why you would need 50 datasources on a single server, instead of a central database (single datasource) with multiple tables. I guess it would be different if you were accessing multiple servers, in a widely distributed environment though. ====================================== Stop spam on your domain, use our gateway!
