there is an xml file you need to set some bit about
cache-ing. once you change that, it seems from what
you are describing, it should be fine....

there is a technote or something like that on macromedia.com
that describes this....

Subject: the wrong page

i have a very odd situation with my web server. all of a sudden, about
2 weeks ago, coldfusion sites that were called would occasionally load a
page from a different site on my server. i originally thought the issue
was with iis, however, i don't have the problem with html pages. this
is becoming a pain in the butt and i'm out of ideas. so far i've

1. restored a previous version of my iis setup
2. cleared the class files from the cfclasses folder
3. cleared all cookies, temp files, etc. from my browser
4. checked the issue on windows nt, windows 2000, windows xp
5. browsed macromedia help
6. browsed help on houseoffusion
7. moved files to a different web server (both running win2k, cf 6.1,
iis5)

on an unrelated note, does anyone know why the mx migration tool in the
6.1 updater wouldn't work. the page just loads and sits there forever
not processing what it needs to.

TIA
