The consensus was that more people would search for "ColdFusion" than "CFML", hence the former would result in a more successful newsgroup. (CFML does of course stand for ColdFusion Markup Language.) There was some debate on which subhierarchy to place it under, and comp.lang.* seemed as good as any of the other possible places, IMHO -- see the full RFD thread for how this decision came about. The organisation of Usenet newsgroups has never been a precise science. :o) Regards, Dave ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm?link=t:4 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm?link=s:4 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.4 This list and all House of Fusion resources hosted by CFHosting.com.
