Yes, I have done a complete site which combines a family photo-album (more than 800 photos) and a browsable and completely dynamic genealogical tree (more than 14600 individuals). It can display both descendant and ascendant genealogical trees on 6 generations. It also has tools to calculate sibling relationships between two individuals and list all ancestors on any number of generations.
However, the site is private and still in a prototype state, at least for the time being. If you are interested, I can give you an access code so you can see it, just follow up in private. P.S. You will have to be able to read French because the site is not (yet) multilingual...
