It kinda makes sense. In source safe I've been able to set the working folder on any
folder in source safe. While by default you set the working folder on any "project"
under the $/ project and it will default working folders relative to that
specification.

To set the working folder on a sub-folder/project open the upper level folders (click
the + box) to expose the folder you want to change. Then right-click on the folder
you want to change and choose the option "Set Working Folder" from the menu that pops
up. You should be prompted for the folder path and it will assign that path to the
VSS folder you clicked on. This is the way I've alwasy done it. We do a lot of
programming that is a mix of FoxPro, CF, SQL Server and HTML. Within 1 project in
source safe I will have about 10 sub-folders/projects. 3 or 4 of them will have the
default working folder changed to point to different servers.

If this doesn't work are you getting any messages or what is happening?

Hmmm, interesting I have tried everything to get this to work. And when I
mean adding a folder, I am talking 3 extra top hierachies and not folders
underneath the top hierarchy. So if it can be done I need to know quickly,
but yeah I have tried everything you can only set working folders for the
entire project. Does this make sense to you at all.
