I don't know how much help this will be. The DLL version is in fact 4.5.0.0,
so that's not your problem. You might want to upgrade to SP 5; a lot of odd
problems seem to go away with SP 5. Also, you might want to make sure you're
running all your applications in-process rather than within separate
processes. You can do this by selecting the virtual server in IIS MMC,
right-clicking and selecting "Properties", then going to the "Home
Directory" tab. Note that I don't know whether either of these will make a
difference.
