Yes, that would be the appropriate way to do it... but it seems obvious he
doesn't have a backup plan in place... or is doing manual backups... or some
other form of backups.
I simply gave him the "quick fix" version.
For more information on how to properly administer your database server...
buy a book or go do some reading on the internet. Plenty of sites out
there... If all you want is to make the error go away... follow the quick
steps I outlined below. ;-)
