Building a 2 dimensional array from lists (junior question)

I have two lists and I want to combine them into a single two dimensional array, how do I
do it??

Here are my two lists..

<cfset myList1 = "apple,banana,orange">
<cfset myList2 = "bird,fish,mammal">
