results easily in a table. If I remember correctly, it also comes with
some information on using remoting to connect to a cfc and retrieve
data, and then how to handle the data once you've retrieved it.
M has a good beginner tutorial at:
http://www.macromedia.com/devnet/mx/coldfusion/articles/startremoting.ht
ml
and a (pdf doc) at:
http://www.macromedia.com/support/coldfusion/documentation/using_frmx_wi
th_cfmx/
I haven't seen any good examples on how to remote in MX2004 Professional
though.

Subject: Performing simple Flash &.CFM actions, whats a good resource??
Flash seems to be the 'next thing' with regards to interface design.
However, so far I've seen very little comprehensive tutorials for
beginners on how to
a) Get data from Flash into a database via a CFM file which can contain
Form verification code etc.
b) Take data from a query recordset returned by calling a .cfm page from
within Flash and Display it on screen
c) DIsplay this data in a standard table format within flash. With
column headers and then rows of data, and a First-Next-Previuos-Last
layout.
d) Variations on the above.E.g. clicking on a row would take you to a
Information page with the fields of the record that could be
Added/Updated etc. etc.
Can anyone point me to a resource that has this information for Flash
with CFMX (Not flash with .asp or flash with .php etc.) ?
