disappearing after upgrading from CFMX 6.0 (or earlier version) to CFMX
6.1?
We have servers running CF 4.5, CF 5 and CFMX 6.1. On versions of CF
prior to 6.1, the server variable is available, but not on 6.1.
Did a test install of CFMX 6.0 to see if the server variable shows up
and it does, so somehow it is lost in the upgrade to 6.1.
We use ActivEdit which uses the server.coldfusion.serialnumber variable
to set a cookie, and ActivEdit isn't working on 6.1.
We waited to upgrade until 6.1 came out because we ran into lots of
problems trying to upgrade to 6.0 and 6.1 fixed a lot of headaches. This
server variable problem doesn't appear in any Macromedia bug lists, nor
can I find any threads on the ColdFusion support forums or this list.
Any ideas? Should I report this as a bug to MM?
