1) For the internals of the server, "Inside Microsoft SQL Server 2000" (ISBN
0-7356-0998-5), by Kalen Delaney.
2) For the Transact/SQL language, "Advanced Transact-SQL for SQL Server
2000" (ISBN 1-893115-82-8), by Itzik Ben-Gan and Tom Moreau.
Master these two tomes and you won't need much else as far as SQL2K
references are concerned. It's the best $120 you'll spend on the subject.
If you're looking for other things like database design and advanced DB/CF
app techniques, take a look at our Advanced Development with ColdFusion MX
and SQL Server 2000 training class. It's a 5-day, 8AM-7PM killer of a
course.
