copy of Linux is quite a shock especially when the "reason" is the
support and the support is limited to one month of installation support.
I'm not saying I'll go back to Windows, I'm just saying that I'll find
another distribution of the "free" Linux OS that doesn't cost $200.
My comment about the cost of Linux was simply related to statements made
in the past by Linux vendors and the Free Software Foundation about how
the cost of Windows is exorbitant even for paid software. I was merely
commenting on how they seem to have changed their tune now that they're
trying to run viable commercial businesses. I didn't mean to say I would
no longer use Linux because it costs money, just that I would probably
switch to a free or cheaper distribution. Most likely Fedora will work
just fine as I'm not running it in a server environment, but I will
evaluate other distributions ... as a matter of fact I've got a copy of
SUSE 9 on the way from an eBay purchase.
Anyway, since I'm not using it for a CFMX server this is OT.
Thanks,
