I've got a multi-step process (small steps...not much data....fine to use
WDDX) which stuffs the forms data into a query which is then searialized and
stuffed ina cookie to be avialiable to the next steps (and added to by
those steps). at the end of the steps, the value of the cookie is
de-serialized (producing the query) and the query is then used to insert
data.
Now the issue is Netscape (4.x) is choking when going from step 2 to step 3
and whining that there is some an improperly ended WDDX packet. It's odd
this happens after the 2nd step and not also after the first step, although
this does mean the packet is larger when the error occurs. Does anyone have
any ideas? Could Netscape have a smaller cookie size limit than IE?
Thanks in advance
Cheers
