I'd been using CFStudio on NT4 and Win2K for about the past 9 months and
never had this problem once. Two weeks ago I started using a different
machine that is Win98. I now get this no less than a half dozen times each
day (I wish I was exaggerating, but I'm not). I agree with a previous
poster who said it was all about resources. :( If I just run CFStudio and
my browser I don't tend to have problems, but if I try to multitask anything
more than that then I am just asking for trouble. <sigh> I really need to
move back to NT. :P

Subject: CFStudio: really really bad?

--=====================_11414787==_.ALT

I downloaded the latest eval of CF Studio, and it crashes my computer
consistently every single time I try to run it in somewhere between
instantly and 15 minutes later. The error is always Windows errors about
Cannot Draw In Canvas, follwed by all kind of memory page faults. Its a
really nasty crash too... I cant shut down, I have to power cycle.

I brought this up on the Allaire Forums and found 45 other people agreeing
that it was unuseable.

I read everyone in this mailing list using CF Studio... does anyone know
what is going on?
Is it just me (and the other 45 who wrote)? Is it this new version?

I've just about given up and decided to try Macromedia UltraDev, but I
figured I'd ask here and see if anyone knows anything about this.
