too much work IMHO. I think the best is just to put variables in seperate
files where each file contains vars which are assigned french or english
text. Then, all you do at the top of a cfm, is do 1 cfif and call the
appropriate template with the vars for the desired language.. not too
mention that this solves the issue of adding more languages down the road.
please not that, you really want to split off text from code. if you have
anything thats gets fairly complex, your translators will eventually lynch
you. java's been at this business way longer then any of us & i18n is
handled with resource bundles. a nifty tool is ibm's rbManager:
