chokes at the registered trademark symbol, giving me an error message
instead of a nicely formatted news page.
Can anyone tell me what to do about this?
I have already tried setting the next line after the CFHTTP to be as
follows:
<Cfset temp = "#replace(cfhttp.filecontent, "®", "", "ALL")#"> but it
doesn't fix the problem. #temp# is still truncated at the point where the
registered trade mark symbol appears. How else can I strip out the
symbol, or alternatively get around the fact the feed truncates at that
symbol?
I'm using ColdFusionMX6.1 and Win2k.
