component I've just released for the onTap framework. Beyond simply
encouraging people to use this component, the Plugin Manager or even
the onTap framework in general, I'd like to encourage comments and
even criticisms on the component and on my assessments of their merits
posted on my blog.

Login (82.7KB) 08-Jan-2004: this is the first onTap framework plugin
designed to be installed into an application via the Plugin Manager
tool. It provides a versatile solution to creating login and
authentication for an application, with most common custom options
(case sensitivity, hashing passwords, etc) being available as form
options within the installer. Other more advanced or involved
costomizations to the tool (using a Flash movie for the login form for
instance) can be made in most if not all cases without modifying any
of the existing code.
