You don't need to set the name of the field dynamically to the name of the 
field on the previous page. You should name it the column of the table that 
you want the info to go into. You can set the value to the name of the 
contents of the field from the page before. I think I'm confused.

If you are using CFInput or CFUpdate you might have better luck using 
CFQuery and writing out the SQL statement. Maybe that's what you need to know.

I'm confused about what you are trying to do. Could you send the code that 
sends info to the database?
