OK....I think I made a boo boo ;-)
I made some changes to the jvm.config file in order to get some Java
graphics stuff working
(http://www.macromedia.com/support/coldfusion/ts/documents/graphics_unix_141
jvm.htm)
I then dropped the new file in the /opt/coldfusionmx/bin directory. This
was the boo boo I believe because that dir contains a file named jvm.config
file but it's a "Link" file type (note that even though I was asked if I
wanted to overwrite it, the modified date never changed from the original
install date). After a reboot I could no longer get CF up and running
Now I realize that I should have overwritten the jvm.config file in the
/opt/coldfusionmx/runtime/bin directory.
Here's what's in the cfserver log file:
Error: no `server' JVM at `/opt/coldfusionmx/runtime/jre
/jre/bin/server/libjvm.so'.
autorestart: Process died in less than 30 seconds; not restarting
So before I start messing with stuff I shouldn't....does anyone have some
insight??
TIA
Cheers
