As I understand it:
1) I can set up a ODBC driver through the MS ODBC manager, then set up a CF ODBC socket DSN.
A) Oracle ODBC
B) Microsoft Oracle ODBC
2) I can use the Oracle JDBC Thin Client and then set up a CF Other DSN.
3) Finally I can use the CF Oracle driver and set up a CF Oracle DSN.
Which one of these is best? What might be the trade offs between one and the others? This is just plain confusing. Too many choices and not enough information on which choice may work best for me.

PS.
I have experienced some trouble with the Oracle ODBC through the CF ODBC socket DSN. It apparently does not like a null date value in the first record of the returned record set.
