I agree, not enough info on that one, I just resort to the <cferror> tag in
the application.cfm

Subject: Site wide error handling

I obviously don't understand how it really works, but I can't find any
good documentation on this subject.  I am trying to capture all errors
that happen on our CF prod server, send an email with all the good info
to a ticket tracking system, and offer the user a more friendly page.

So I went into the administrator and under settings I find "Site wide
error handler", I put in the relative path to my script that sends the
email and displays a nice error screen.  However, when I create a file
that throws an error, and request it I still see the CF default template
vs. seeing my custom script.  Does anyone know what this setting does?
Or how to accomplish what I am trying to do?

Thanks,

Ray
