I've never used Suse & CF together, so this is a shot in the dark. Do you have a CFIDE and cfide directory in /opt/coldfusionmx/wwwroot? I know when installing on Redhat, CF will create a CFIDE directory and create a cfide link to it. I believe you may need both (cfide & CFIDE) for CF to work on Linux.
