That's not spidering, though - it requires that the files be on the same
physical machine or on a network share accessible by SQL Server. If you're
putting documents out on the web, they may not going to be on your database
server. Verity's spider can request files via HTTP, although the version
that comes with the bundled version of Verity is limited by license to
spidering the localhost address.
