Yep WDDX is a standard (not been worked on since 1997 AFAIK!) -
www.openwddx.org <http://www.openwddx.org>  is as bare as anything!


I needed a particular format of XML...I will probably have to work with
MSXML or something.

WDDX is a standard. It's got a valid schema doc and everything.

There is no One True Standard xml format, only schemas which define what
tags,
properties etc are allowed in any particular format.

If you need to produce an XML document from a struct that conforms to a
particular schema, I don't know of anything that will do that, it should be
easy enough to do though.

Let us know how you get on though as something similar is next on my list
after I sort of the cfstoredproc problem.
