We are still working on a way to get this out to customers, but look for a
hotfix or a technote with the relevant downloads "soon".
I will post to CFTalk with a URL pointer when we do make this fix available.

It's documented that the Verity functionality is not supported in Red Hat
7.3, 8, and 9 in any version of CFMX 6.0 or 6.1. Unfortunately, this means
you will have to consider alternatives such as Lucene for indexing
documents. Aaron Johnson wrote two excellent articles on integrating Lucene
with CFMX in the July/August 2003 editions of CFDJ.

Subject: Verity returns zero hits
I am using CFMX on Redhat8. The CFMX Administrator
allows me to create and index a collection called
CodeColl. I am using the sample pages of
collection_search_form.cfm and
collection_search_action.cfm as I found them. The
script runs with no errors, but I get zero
hits. I have also tried indexing the collection
manually with the cfindex tag. That also runs with a
success message, but my searches all are empty. CF is
indexing something. The verity/collections folder gets
much larger after the indexing process. Any ideas on
my
empty results?
