That's only true in a shared environment. I suspect that most Java
development takes place on dedicated servers.

Yes, it would, and I wouldn't be surprised to see something like that in a
future version. I'm not sure, but BlueDragon may provide this capability
now.

Considering that CFMX is essentially an expanded WAR file itself, I suspect
that things might be a little more complicated than they might appear at
first glance. I suspect that they pushed off doing this for the initial
versions of CFMX for this reason.
