Yes but you cannot pass the same amount of information through the URL.  They are gernerely limmited to like 3000 characters i think.

  If you're using fusebox, then you can probably convert the form fields to
  URL parameters and CFLOCATION to that URL, because they'll be 'attributes'
  on the other end either way.
