answered most of my questions.
I was under the misconception that framesets were expanded on the server,
but now it seems obvious;-) that they would be processed on the client.
I understand the order of processing is a problem even without frames and
a common solution is to lock-out other buttons on click, using _javascript_.
Wonder if that works across frames...
