No limit to the 'dot.something' pairs.

What would you suggest for the dot extension? I would think that a string
following the last dot would be most flexible...

I will see if I can hunt down the editor!

How is 'extension' defined ?

There is a handy regular _expression_ editor called kregexpeditor, which I
swear
has been ported to Windows from KDE - but I can't remember the URL :-)
