It does actually, if you use a third party tool - Igloo.

Well, HS+ supports the... I'm sure I'll get this wrong, SCCI? API - which
VSS and other (although I'm not sure which) source control apps use.

yeah, you can use HS/CFS with VSS via SCCI thingy, but it sucks when you have a large amount of files because you have to schlep around that project file.
