I found a nice description on vCalendar standard creation and a UDF on
cflib, but what I'm unsure of is where to put this newly created piece
of code. Do I just put it in the body of the email, attach it as a file
or does it go in the header somewhere? Please let me know if anyone
knows what to do here.

Do a search on VCalendar - it's a complete specification on how to
create Calendar entries via a VCS file
I think there's a simple one created on FigLeaf, but I can't be sure if
it's still there
