Actually, I did.  That's why I am posting.  I have 3 articles that I keep on reading over and over again.  I am sure I am missing something.  The 3 articles I am using as reference are:

1 from livedocs, and the 2 from Macromedia's website ( "ColdFusion Extreme: Creating a Flexible XML Menu " and "XML and XSLT in ColdFusion MX").

Sorry if it sounds so basic, but I am sure it is something simple;  I just can't see to put my finger on it.
