that's what I thought...i use
this tag all the time.  anyway, as soon
as I throw <cfoutput></cfoutput> aroudn the data
that I want written from a query to the file within the
cfsavecontent, I get cfloop errors, blah blah blah...

I don't have duplicate cfoutputs, I just have one set.
I don't have any cfloop errors...this is weird...

Sure can.  You can embed almost anything in CFSAVECONTENT.  CFLUSH is the
only exception I know about, because it can't be within any custom tag.
