I've not seen this exact error before, but it sounds like the JDBC driver is
being redirected when it attempts to connect tot he Oracle server and port
you've given it. Just a shot in the dark here, but is there a firewall or
router between CF and Oracle?

I am trying to set up a data source using an Oracle Driver and get this
