My initial thought is why? Why not just let them type in their username and
password?
In fact, I would caution against displaying a list of usernames prior to
logging in for security reasons; why give a hacker a foot in the door!
Given what you have said so far I would not recommend it.. If you give more
insight into what you are doing I will still be against it. :-)
