I've really never been impressed with either Studio or Homesite's
reliability. Always have had some sort of problem with both, on old and new
machines. I've always been excited to install a new release in the hopes
that it would solve all the problems and let me use the programs for their
power and beauty. But, it's not happened so far. I have since reverted to
NoteTab Pro. Pretty much lets me do everything I need to do, and it is swift
and light.
There is another editor that is tops in my book, and it's FREE. But, there
is something about the company. They don't really respond, since it's free I
guess, and they used to talk about a new version but it has never
materialized.
It's called: 1st Page 2000 and it's at: http://www.evrsoft.com/1stpage/
For FREE it's a great editor. Even for $$ it's on par with Homesite.

It's not just on his particular Win 98. I've heard quite a few complaints
about it, in fact I had the same thing myself and it was immensely annoying.
I upgraded to Win 2k and the problem completely dissappeared.
