I don't think that migrating form the CD to the hard disk has to be
that difficult.  It's just a matter of copying 50 Meg of data from the
CD to the hard drive.  It only takes a few seconds, manually, but I
think you could easily write a cf template to do this for the user
using cffile and or cfexecute.

You don't have to reinstall anything, just copy the directory structure
and then you are running read/write!
