The reason why the installer doesn't do all of this is because stunnel is a
generic application to turn apps that don't support SSL into SSL capable
apps. It can be used for both clients and servers and is really really neat
when you are stuck in a hole as it were...
An alternative to using the free stunnel would be to use CFX_HTTP5.
http://www.cftagstore.com/tags/cfxhttp5.cfm. I have no idea if its any good
or not but it may be more palatable for your client....
