I am using Flash (although I should be going home!) to talk to
ColdFusion that connects to a database. All works well as far as updates
and inserts, ...). However I would like for my application to also be
able to create a file.
I've created a tree and when you click on a menuItem, then a .cfm file
apecific to that menuItem pops up. All works well for existing files.
The problem is that a menuItem can be created and when it is I need to
create a .cfm page.
In the Flash app, a coldFusion file is called upon onRelease. That
coldFusion file creates a new menuItem using <CFQUERY>. However, if I
use <CFFILE...> after that, then nothing happens...not even the query.
I know that this is not a coldFuion forum...but this deals with Flash
too. What should I do? Flash will not create a file, so I have to depend
on ColdFusion, right?
Thank you -
Frank
