Subject: Array error

Why do I get this error?:

An error occurred while evaluating the _expression_:
session.item[variables.arrayLength+1][1]=form.qty
Error resolving parameter VARIABLES.ARRAYLENGTH. The specified variable name
cannot be found.

for the bold line below.

I'n new to arrays so any insight would be great! Thanks.
