All,
SQL Server. Working with a database that already is in production. One
thing that was not taken into account was the preponderance of accented
text that was going to be in the various text fields. Now it is a bit of a
mess. The word 'Pierre', for example, is present in the accented version
and the non-accented version in the database. When a user searches for
either of the versions, it does not get the other version. (Hope that made
sense!)

Anyway, what do I do now? Do I go in manually and replace all the
non-accented words with accented ones? And if I do, how do I go about
matching non-accented search terms to accented results?
