I tried the codes and the first one with the seperate statement worked somewhat but if the you did not put a valid email address we did not receive the lead? The others did not work and error codes came up when you tried to submit the form? Again the email field is required, but what I am trying to accomplish is have a default email address is sent so that if they put a bogus email or typo in the email box or N/A we still get the lead. See some people do not want to give their email or other reasons and want to be contacted by phone. When we have the from go to our own address website email this works. But when we change the from in cfmail to read like it is coming directly from the person filling out the form to go to our subscribing companies is when this "validation" takes place and does not send the lead if it is bogus or not a correct email and is lost in cyber space??
