I may be misinterpreting this question but preventing blank spaces should
not be an option. Instead use client side validation (Javascript) or
post-processing (CF code) to take care of the fields that were not filled
out by the user.

Subject: Peventing Inserting only Blank Spaces in Form Field
This is a multi-part message in MIME format.

What is the best way to prevent blank spaces being used in form input fields
when a person is filling of a cf form.
I have the forms set so entry or data (including just a blank space by
pressing the spacebar) is required in each field in order for the form to be
processed once the user clicks the submit button, however this does not get
around the problem of the user simply inserting blank spaces in the form
fields which in turn allows the form to be submitted ??????????????
Suggestions please
Kind Regards
